Raft Wines, Sangiovese Nascere Vineyards 2021

Jennifer Reichardt comes from a family that has been dedicated to food and wine production in Sonoma County for over a century. She founded Raft Wines in 2016, a brand created "from a feeling of joy - joy of the land, of the food and wine we can produce, and of the joy we have when we share around the table ".

This Sangiovese perfectly echoes the ethos of Raft Wines; it's a versatile wine with enough tannin structure to hold a good meal, but it can be easily enjoyed with a few snacks on a picnic setting. It leads with dry herbs and delicate spice, followed by red cherry and lightly tart plum flavors.
