Le Piane, Colline Novaresi Nebbiolo 2023

Le Piane is a true “insiders” winery in the far northern Piedmontese area of Boca. This small estate of 8 hectares is planted to mostly Nebbiolo, with a little Vespolina as well. The Colline Novaresi Nebbiolo has 5% Vespolina and is macerated for just 6 days on the skins in order to achieve a gentle, mountain red, redolent of spiced cherries and Alpine flowers.
