Jean-Philippe Fichet, Meursault 'Le Tesson' 2023

This is one of the best situated vineyards in Meursault; indeed it should really be elevated to 1er Cru status. With a continuous, east facing slope and very shallow top soil the vines here (from 40-75 years old) produce a quintessential Meursault–baked apples, honeyed almonds, white flowers, lemon curd, and saline minerals all combine in perfect harmony.
