Domaine de Piaugier is a family-run winery in Sablet, Rhône Valley, known for producing elegant and well-structured wines that reflect the region’s terroir. With a focus on traditional winemaking and sustainable vineyard practices, the estate crafts expressive Grenache-based reds and fresh, aromatic whites.
This is a Rhône field-blend, of mostly Grenache, then Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Carignan grapes from 20yrs old vines that grow on argile limono-sableuse soils. The fruits 100% destemmed when it arrives to the winery, and then aged in cement tanks. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
The wine has red and black fruits aromas, along with hints of pepper.
