Alain Cailbourdin, Pouilly-Fume 'Les Racines' 2021

Alain Cailbourdin went to Pouilly-Fumé in 1980 to work harvest and quickly fell in love with the region. He bought his first 2 ha parcel of Silex laden Sauvignon Blanc and officially established Domaine Alain Cailbourdin.

"Les Racines" is made of 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes, grown on Portlandian limestone with sandy topsoil, farmed organically, hand picked, fermented and aged in stainless steel. 

Mineral driven with zippy, vibrant acidity. Lemongrass and white flower aromas; kiwi fruit, lime zest and white nectarine flavors.
