Chartogne-Taillet, Champagne Extra Brut St. Thierry 2016

The St. Thierry bottling is made from the Grands Champs vineyard parcel in the village of Merfy. The terroir is limestone chalk bedrock with clay and sand topsoil.

80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier that has seen time in both barrel and concrete eggs before 36+ month aging in bottle.

At 2-3 grams of RS, this is wonderfully dry and high toned champagne with lemony brioche notes and an incredibly long finish.
